Chopwood Mercantile - 120 Elk Ave - Chopwood Mercantile is an Outdoor Shop that provides unique gear and guidance to foster experiences in wild places.  We are taking our decades of mountain retail and merging it with the concept of a 'public house' along with a little bit of old-school friendly mercantile.

The Alpineer - 419 6th St - Next to Paradise Cafe. The Alpineer is Crested Butte’s premier outdoor equipment shop and a local’s favorite since 1969. In the winter months, they carry everything from alpine touring, telemarking, and cross-country skis to snowshoes, avalanche equipment and camping gear. During the summer, they are the experts when it comes to mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, camping and climbing. They also carry a large selection of rental equipment for your outdoor adventure.

Pooh’s Corner - 302 Elk Ave - Next to Pita’s in Paradise. Pooh’s corner is for the kidos! A family owned children's toy store in Crested Butte. Gunnison Valley's Lego Headquarters. Selling new and novelty children's toys from birth and up! Stuffed animals, puzzles, games, dolls, art supplies, snow toys, candy, gift wrapping, and balloons.

Pfister's Handworks - 302 Elk Ave - 2nd Floor on top of Pita’s in Paradise. This store has Crested Butte souvenirs to art supplies and stationary, gifts, cards, novelty toys for children and adults, candy, clothing and hats!
